Take a look at the links in the signatures of resellers in this forum. Do you have any other questions? Lois Th3Boss 10-15-2005, 05:29 PM ok how about yr most popular package. just lookin to know: Disk Space Bandwith # of Domains/Sub Domains Price Per Month writespeak 10-15-2005, 05:44 PM Originally posted by Th3Boss ok how about yr most popular package. just lookin to know: Disk Space Bandwith # of Domains/Sub Domains Price Per Month It isn't really a fair question to ask for 2 reasons: - If any resellers responded to your question, their responses could be seen as self-promotion, which isn't allowed here. - It could appear that you're trying to find out exactly what worked for other resellers to copy them. Note that I'm not saying that that's what you're doing, but I suggest finding your own niche and making your own packages for your target market. From what I've heard, the 100 MB packages are often among the most popular, but it greatly depends on your target market. If your target market is large businesses, for example, you might not even have a 100 MB package. The popularity of your various packages will also depend on more than the packages themselves. Your marketing, your reputation, etc., are all part of it. You'll find a lot of useful information in the Running a Web Hosting Business (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=6) forum. You must add something special to your offer, call it your Unique Selling Proposition. Space, data transfer, # of domains, price, etc. should become secondary to your offer because you don't really have the ability to be part of the price wars, but you do have (or should prepare yourself to have) the ability to explore niches in the market. Many go for the local market where the only hosting provider is an ISP with huge prices and few features. Others specialise in some type of application(s) and completely support it. Find a group of people with a special hosting related problem, and give them a solution: your advanced hosting service. :) TRIBOLIS 10-16-2005, 02:41 AM I agree with that. You need to tell us how much spaces you need, your budget etc then we can help you. |
