I have read many things regarding these Raqs but still don't know which is the best! The Raq4R is cheaper the XTR is faster, the Raq4R has more packages available and on and on...

What really are the main differences between the 2? Do they use the same software, what are the advantages of each?

Thanks guys, it ain't easy to choose

...that the XTR's won't support SSI (server side includes)??? I haven't actually got my RaQ's yet, so I can't verify that it's true? Once I receive my shipment (this week hopefully), I can play with them and verify that......

Anyone else?

If you can afford it, go for the RaQ XTR.
Processor much faster, better RAID support, Hard disks swappable using the front panel, better user web based interface,...

If you can't afford it...
Buy a RaQ4r (also RAID, 2x 40GB,...)

The XTR is a way cool box. The panel flips down. The only dislike on the XTR is the long box. It's way too long.

If you have the money go with the XTR

Sorry....was supposed to be here, but turns out one of the boxes is on backorder for a couple of weeks....the other, is sitting at the FedEx depot waiting for me to go pick it up tomorrow! :D

I won't be able to answer any questions for you for at least a few weeks....sorry man!

And, I am a newbie to RaQ's, so my answers might not even be correct! ;)
