We are a webhosting reseller and would like to outsource our design services. We would like to partner with a website developer who is skilled in HTML, PHP, CGI, Perl and MySQL. Some graphics abilities would be a plus. Our sales department would provide the clients and you would do the design/programming.

We will be offering three packages that can be customized depending on the needs of the client. Each package will contain basically the following:
Package 1: 7 pages/7 graphics/7000 words
Package 2: 24 pages/24 graphics/24000 words + Shopping Cart
Package 3: Same as Package 2 + MySQL and/or Custom Programming

When you refer to 7,000 words, and 24,000 words, do you mean that the designer would write content?

The copy would be provided to you already edited. You would not be involved in content. The packages are just to give a basic idea of the amount of content involved.

After looking at some of the offers received, I would like to explain that we are looking for someone that will give us a discount off their regular rates so we can profit too. What we can do is send you jobs on a regular basis working as a Sales partner for you/your company.

So basically, you want to be a reseller of web designs?

That causes more legal trouble than anything, I think...

How does it cause leagal troubles? Can you elaborate?

...well, I already made a discount. The price I quoted was for a team made of one programmer and one designer.

We are no strangers to Subcontracting (and colaboration).
