- I've been reading and found this term '3PP'. What is it?
- Does Payment Gateway come with the merchant account?

3PP stands for 3rd Party Processor and is the business like what 2CO and alot others do.

Which also means you do not need a merchant account to start processing credit cards.

Typically a Merchant Account is a isolated business provided by the bank, sometimes the bank advice you then which gateway they use and which you can connect to.

In other cases, the Gateway Provider will suggest you which merchant account you have to take to be able to use the gateway. :)
