If you are going to resell from a hosting company, what can you usually copy from their site? I've come across some that will allow you to copy anything you want, but most seem to only allow copying of their FAQ and TOS.

Of course I wouldn't want my site to look exactly like theirs, but it would save having to buy a template or write my own HTML, Javascript, etc; and then I could just plug in my own copy, my own gifs, and change the layout a bit and go with it.

Usually the TOS, since your customers will have to agree to the same terms and their network page. :)

I would highly recommend you create your own design or get a unique template, as individual branding is an important part of webhosting sales. However, to answer your question: I would expect most hosting providers would not allow you to copy design content, for the above reason. Obviously each host will differ, so your best option is to ask each host.
