Hi, I was wondering if someone could help me with my LAN.

I just got a neew pc that has windows XP on it.

I have two other computers that are networked together using a ethernet hub and running NetBEUI protocol.

They see eachother fine But i can't get the new pc to see them and they cant see the new pc.

The 2 pc's that can see each other, 1 is WIN95 and one is WIN98.

I think my problem is that the new pc(XP) isnt running on NetBEUI protocol.

Does any one know if XP has NetBEUI?

I think i chose NetBEUI so the network wasnt visible when I was connected to the web via dialup.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

I think I had pretty much the same problem...

It might be due to the differnet OS's...

You are correct. The XP box will not be seen until you have NetBEUI installed on it. Use this link to install it on your XP box.

I had that same problem when setting up my print server after getting windows xp installed. I checked everything, it just never occured to me that xp would uninstall it :()
