Hello everyone....

Does anyone know the best place to get html templates that dont look like crap.
Let me know if there is anything cool out there that I've missed.

Thanks for the help

Hi Mike,

I'm certainly no expert, but I was given this link:

www.templatemonster.com/

on a previous thread, and I thought they looked good.

Of course, I do not know the specifics of your definition of crap and therefore cannot account for the templates on the given link being 'crap' or not.

Yes, if you could explain what is 'crap' that would help. There are lots of templates providers and what to choose depends on your needs mainly...

What do you plan to use the templates for? What are your requirements for them?

All bulk templates are crap to me. All those that are not UNIQUE are worthless in my eyes. Get a talented designer to make one layout for you.

I think that oswd.org is back up again now.
As for bulk templates, too many sites use them. Try to get someone to design you a custom one or something, it makes your website a lot more appealing ;) .

If your looking for a one of a kind website, then you need to get someone to design it.

You will need to pay for a designers time.

You can purchase templates at a much lower cost that would do the job. Just be sure to know how many others are using the templates.

Make sure they are search engine friendly and offer the makings of allowing your site to get a good rank in the search engines once indexed.

Thats about it. good Luck on your search.

I bought a couple of Templatemonster templates a few years back, and was disappointed. They seem to look nice at first glance but when you download them you realise they are full of design flaws.
