Errrrr..I am a bit confused. Are you pointing us to Replisoft as an example for your web site which contains the word 'Airsoft' ? What exactly is your web site and the specifications? Also, it'd be great to mention where are you located etc.

Requirements not so clear as I get a 404. If you wish you can upload the image here for us to see. We want to know the color scheme, the dimension, what text should be placed on the logo, etc.

Also, if you so be kind to tell us the purpose/intent of the logo. What is the nature of the company? What do you want the logo to portray to the target audience?, etc.

Once we have the details, then we can start conceptualization to come up with the logo you want/desire.

It's rather difficult to come up with an idea of what kind of company or service you offer with the site not functioning. :(

First, we thought all entries will be posted here. We never knew we could send entries to you personally via email. That is probably our mistake.

Second, you never informed us of the result and kept us hanging. Well, we could understand you might have been busy so we "forgive" you.

But, next time, we hope nothing like this would happen. We are thinking that you are extending the time to get more entries, but no other entries were posted.

EDIT: d.p.z., We already saw that logo (on replisoft.com) on your old site while we were trying to locate the "enter.htm" that caused the 404. We thought it was just a sample logo so we submitted our entry to the contest. If you have announced that you have already the logo, we would not have bothered to submit.

your site's not http://www.replisoft.com , is it? I hope not, that logo is a lot worse than some of the ones posted here. consul's and mhq's were some of the best. I really can't believe it if you chose that logo over these ones!

This post turned out to be a surprise to me now.

At the time you have posted this message, that logo you had on replisoft.com was already on your old site. We checked on April 19 (+800GMT) and as for the record, this is posted on April 23 (+800 GMT).

You were hoping for more entries to come, but the logo that you said was the best was already on your old site. You did not tell us that the one there was actually an entry. We would really love to hear some good explanation.

Sorry to be this emotional, but I hate it when somebody does that to us. We deserve every respect as your fellow designer.

I might be wrong on this one and I am willing to apologize. I will be glad if you can explain it.

To everyone, please excuse the tone of this post. I must say this is not really the usual me.

If d.p.z. can just give us a background or a circumstance that will somehow lighten our "heartache" on this issue, we would really feel better. Really.

Like I've said in my previous post, we have already forgiven you for the mistake. But, it would somehow make us feel better if you can give us a background on the circumstance. We are really open to this. And please don't take it as a rather "sour graping" moment. No, we humbly respect your decision on what logo you choose to be appropriate for your site. What is best for you is really the best since you are the client.

I wouldn't blame any of the designers for flying into a rage over this. The whole thing seems to be a snare and delusion. To what end, I don't know. :confused:

Umm i kind of dont understand what u r saying or exactly want but im sorry i forgot to tell u guys that i had chose someone for the job......He presentin a logo to me by email and i liked it the best but it wasnt kind good enough so he said he would keep editing it to my liking so i decided to give him the 75$ . Very sorry for not telling you sooner if thatds the problem. I thank all of u you posted a logo i am very glad i had so many people contact me and participate. So i can officially say that its over. If you still have a problem with me or something i did please tell me i would like to stay good in this "community" And if i did something wrong or hurt someone in somewa please do say and tell me, EMail please to keep things quiet id like to stay at this forum.

I think contests should be banned on this forum. What the hell is the point of spending a lot of time on a piece of work that you know is high quality and not getting anything for it. Contests are lame and only benifit the contest holder. Not the contestants. :angry:

Youve got my vote for contests being banned.

This whole thing was baloney, along with any contest...web design shouldnt be made into a contest, it just doesnt make sense.

Why you guys even bother entering in these contests boggles me, its a total waste of your time in 90% of the cases. If WHT wont put a stop to these lame contests, we will have to do so ourselves, designers must take charge and refuse to enter any contests. That's my 2 bits.

let the market be free. or meybe you want to establish a 'designers trade union'? ;)

Poor people asking for free stuff just bothers me. Grrr contests are lame. Fork out a little bit of money and you will get quality work. Do a contest and you'll get some 13 year old kid ripping a website and changing the colors. Its up to you.
