Is there a fully functional CP that does basic things. Similar to the web.cp or webmin but more basic (and in the case of web.cp, fully functional). Something like CNC that Futurequest has.

Here are some things it needs (not all required):

+ Add Domain Accounts
+ Add Sub-Domains
+ Add E-mail Accounts (autoresponders, aliases, accounts, etc)
+ SERVER and CLIENT CP
+ Install FP extensions
+ Add Users

Thanks

Hi. Our CP (beta at http://www.freehostingsolutions.com) has all those features (minus FP which will come soon) - It's free and OPEN Source so you can modify the code to suite your needs - We suggest you wait a few days until the latest version comes out which will include some bug fixes - please email me <<Removed>> if you need any information.

Is this meant to be a generic Linux control panel, or is it for RAQs?

When we first started writing it, it was transfering customers FROM CobaltRaQs to generic servers - right now it installs on generic servers and will work on a Cobalt RaQ - but the RaQ control panel will stop working (we will use MySQL and they use PostGRESQL - we use XINETD they use redhat 6.2 based we used 7.1-7.2)

However, we are working on a migration script from cobalt to this software however we do not have any RaQs at our disposal - we need people who are generous enough to lend us access to their raqs for a little while (we won't edit/delete/modify any settings)

The control panel keeps the same settings and standards as the cobalts but adds features
/home/sites/www.domain.com and /home/sites/siteX are still the same (upload to the "web" directory)
cgiwrap was removed
customers can add subdomains
customers can manage MySQL databases
uses a newer http version and proftpd and everything
/siteadmin and /sysadmin are the same
there is NO DNS MANAGER YET (VERY SOON)
FP is coming soon
WE HAVE AN IP MANAGER

Its Free and Open source so feel free to modify it all you want (just dont sell it :))

And more. If you have a current cobalt and want information/help with transfering your files/settings/customers onto this control panel please email or private message me :)

Sorry :( You are correct, I just figured since it was free people would want to know about it (plus i didnt start the thread) -

anyway the question was asked publicly so i thought it should be answered publicly - I have been private messaging with a few people :)

Thanks for the info tho, it's been noted :)
