Both of them have a very active modding community (as does phpBB and most every other popular forum). Alex 10-13-2005, 04:02 PM In my opinion vBulletin 3.5 is better, because of the mod installation system. To install a mod, all you do is upload a few files and an xml file in your Admin CP. Some of the features that are hacked into vBulletin are in IPB, but the vBulletin hacks are done so well you wouldn't ever notice it. I havn't used IPB in a long time, so I don't know where to go to find hacks, but you can check out vbulletin hacks here (http://www.vbulletin.org).
