I am wondering will the domain work if your ISP provider did not add it to there DNS server for reverse DNS?

how important is reverse DNS? is it crucial for domain names to work?

Is it better to use DNS server from ISP or third party?

reverse DNS is not crucial to MOST webhosting services.

https:// sites would be one where you cannot do name based virtual hosts..

Some mail servers will not accept mail from mail servers that don't have a reverse DNS entry. That's about the only problem that I can think of. While it's not crucial, it's good to have where possible.
