I am trying to register my new nameservers with network solutions which is where my domain is registered with but I submited it on Sunday and got a rejection letter saying that invalid info was entered on line 1c which is where you input the IP address?

Anyone have advice on what to do to register these nameservers, I don't know if it might not just be easier to have my host do the dns enteries. As a host does it matter to you?

To register nameservers just go to "Manage DNS" and type ns1.domain.com and ns2.domain.com where is "domain.com" name of your domain name and then you'll need to fill some fields or if you want to use the same info you may check.

Good luck ;)

Hi,

Assuming you just want to change/modify/update your domain nameservers (dns) to point to your new Host's server.

1)Click on "MANAGE ACCOUNT"
2)Click on "Domain Manager"
3)Click on "Go To Forms"
4)Click on "Service Agreement"

Make the modification/update to your records. In this case scroll down to nameservers and do the changes. Submit the form and you will receive an auto reply that your submission has been received.

When you receive the actual form later for modification, you MUST fill in "1a" to "Y" and submit the Form. If "1a" is left blank, then it will result in the form for updates being rejected.

If you don't have a NSI HANDLE, this is one method that you can change your records but you must be the Guardian for the domain where any changes MUST be approved by the GUARDIAN(valid email where the Forms will be sent to for changes to be made to the domain)

Usually I do the changes for my clients if their Domain Registrar is NSI if they need help and advice them what to do when they receive the modification Forms and it works every time.

Hope this helps.
