Anyone else hear about this fiber cut in Melbourne, Florida? Or it causing BellSouth loops to go offline in FL?

Is there anyone else here effected by this?

I haven't heard anything about it. Where did you get your news from? Maybe it is a very localized problem... we're in Viera, a little north of Melbourne proper, and the phones have been fine. Internet too, though we are not using BellSouth for access...
