Hello and sorry if I repeat someone's else topic.
I need help with creatng vertical menu with some sub-menus. As I have no knowledge on script writing,I tried to find a free program that would help me.
Finally, I found OpenCube's NavStudio. In fact, it offered my a number of templates, but since they don't cost, I don't care.
I installed this program, launched wizard to help determine me and did what I want. The program even accepted Lithuanian characters almost without problem:) . I saved menu file in a directory of my web page and then inserted the HTML menu to my index file.
And then the very fun happened. I needed a menu that has main item in the side frame and sub-items in the main like that:
menuitem1--submenu1
submenu2
That did not work. Also, I wrote the URLs to open in mainframe. The program did not realise this and opened all URLs in a new frame. I tried to experiment, but almost everything failed.
I thought I should take the sumenu a distance so that it should open in a main frame like that:
menuitem1---------------------------submenu1
submenu2
However, I failed even to insert the code:bawling: .
The question is: what went wrong and how can I operate this program? Please note that I employ "throw and forget" tactic - i.e. I have almost no knowledge on HTML or Java scripts, all I do is I write a text and place everything in the Dreamwever.
Help please...
