I just bought a RaQ 4i server with 256 mb of ram. Could some one please tell me if I use the same IP address for the domain name as well as for the Primary DNS.

Thanks
Jp

they will set it up for you on their own DNS server.

You could. Just note that it will be dedicated to the nameserver then. (Unless I am misunderstanding the question?)

The setup e-mail said,

"Primary DNS: You should be running this on your own Cobalt server"

I have a base Ip address plus 14 other IP. I'm not sure how to set up my own primary DNS. I read the manual and the cobalt's online support. I'm still unsure.

thanks

ask them to set up your DNS setting on TB DNS server its much easier.

If you plan on hosting other domains on your server and want to use
our DNS server, send an email to noc@tera-byte.com with the subject
line \'DNS control panel account for neuads.com\'. Once the account is
set up, you will be able to use our domain name servers instead of
running DNS on your RaQ. This will provide much more reliable DNS
service.
