Hi everyone,

Most of the posts I've read warn us about PayPal. One such post can be found here:

http://webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=38218

Members who don't use PayPal or use other e-payment services, please tell us about these other alternatives. Who do you like most? Or if there is more than one, please tell us about them. Do you trust them? :)

It would be nice to hear what people think about other e-payment services.

Thanks! :)

Jessica

We use Clickbank. Reasons? Come visit us. :)

Anyway, Clickbank has a built-in affiliate system (more like commission junction). We are receiving incomes from them actually aside from the orders we received.

:)

EDIT: And by the way, you don't have to worry about paying affiliates. It is Clickbank which takes care of that. Your affiliate will also feel comfortable since there is no bias in the accounting of their credits.

The one thing I didn't like about ClickBank is that when the customer clicks the order button they are taken to the clickbank page... Is there a way to make it obvious that the visitor is still on your site? For example, can you customize the order page and have your logo at the top etc?

I haven't used them myself, but I have seen sites that do, its possible that they just didn't take the time to set these things...

Problems that are posted do not reflect our service. Yes, account restrictions do happen, but they are actually quite rare. PayPal has a user base reported at 15 million, so customer problems are going to happen. I come to the forums to make sure that these issues are resolved. I would also like to add that account restrictions can be resolved (they are typically resolved in a few business days if the requested documentation is complete, legible, and reflects the information we are looking for).

For other readers, our User Agreement does specify the reasons an account can be restricted. I would recommend reviewing them, as it will greatly reduce the potential for a restriction to occur.

You might look at C2it.com. They are similar to paypal and are run by CitiBank and are thus FDIC insured :)

However they dont appear to have as nice of a system yet for one click purchases etc.
