SqueakDuck 10-11-2005, 06:41 AM PrOsHoCk do you have another URL to test with? The one in your original post no longer seems to work.
Also, how does the 3Mbps and 10mbit burstable work?
I am VERY interested, but would first like to do a test download :)
PrOsHoCk 10-11-2005, 11:28 AM try this link
http://38.99.4.13/test/235MB.test

We guarantee 3Mbps anything over it free to use if its available with out any change up to 10Mbps
SqueakDuck 10-12-2005, 12:17 AM Well I've paid for the first month and I'm waiting on my login details :)
PrOsHoCk how long does it normally take to get the details?
PrOsHoCk 10-12-2005, 02:39 AM between 1-3days on the setup
SqueakDuck 10-15-2005, 04:14 AM I have my server!
Very nice speeds. The only issue I have is the fault of Cogent's peering with my ISP's upstream, completely out of the hands of PrOsHoCk.
I accidentally firewalled myself out of the box, sent a reboot email and it was done pretty quickly.
So far, very happy!
starscalling 10-22-2005, 03:19 AM firewall + reboot + *nix != access
are these the same ppl? or is this legit?

I was thinking the same thing. The site is down as well. The DNS does reverse back to the list domain but kinda wierd so many ppl with so few posts buying this deal huh....
SqueakDuck 10-23-2005, 07:56 PM Well I am legit, but I can't speak for the others. PM me if you want to email me or something to confirm for yourself.
rhenderson 10-23-2005, 08:03 PM Hi, glad you responded. Never said you weren;t just said a lot of ppl with few posts jumping on this deal. But I am glad you wrote back. I tried to access the site. I was wondering how the service was for the new server... We cannot access thier site from here.
SqueakDuck 10-23-2005, 08:06 PM I can't really speak to the service, the only dealings I've had with them so far is the initial setup of the server. During that they responded to my email queries in a decent timeframe.
Since my server went online, I've only had need to contact them once: to reboot my server. That was done within about 30 minutes or so. I didn't get a reply to my reboot request, but it was done.
As for the server itself, it is single homed on Cogent bandwidth. If that is an issue for you then stay clear :)
CEBiXT 10-24-2005, 01:02 PM I ordered the server on the 12'th of October 2005 and they e-mailed me saying they didn't have the server and they could provide a full refund if requested and if I would wait 2 weeks until 1th November they would give me an %50 discount on my second month payment so I'm waiting but the website is down and I'm starting to get scared :(
rhenderson 10-24-2005, 07:38 PM :) Good luck to you, be sure and let us know how it works out.
visualfast 10-24-2005, 08:14 PM :) i thought they gone there domain expired :)
rhenderson 10-24-2005, 09:38 PM Wow - One of the reasons I reg;ed mine for 10 years lol
