My aunt just forwarded this e-mail she got. One of her coworkers who works at the Sherriff's Department around here sent her this, so just wanted to alert some people, maybe save a life ;).

This is hilarious! My aunt told my mom about this earlier today and they were both worried about it. :rofl: It's really funny that someone posted it here, and better yet, that it's "Snoped!" :D

Oh' my some things you just gotta laugh at.

Even though it's snoped, ever since hearing about that years ago I tend to not flash people.

unless your in south central LA I really doubt this is something to get worked up over. Go about and live your lives knowing you wont be shot over that week.

I live in Los Angeles and its just something that happens here.

Gang initiation week doesn't scare (urban legend anyway) as we have had numerous freeway shootings this year and past years. Lots of people are shoot not in this supposedely initiation week so you have nothing more to fear than you do any other day.

Here's a snippet from the foxnews.

The shootings dropped off after 1987, and since 2001 have averaged around 40 a year in Los Angeles alone, according to police.

They may not be trying to kill people this weekend, but I am a volunteer firefighter in my town, and listen to the local dispatches, well, they are stealing headlights as if they were going out of style the last two nights!!!

Now, those people may not have their headlights on during the drive home ;)
