ok i didnt really want to ask here because i recently asked about 2 questions lol but its been killing me.

I just downloaded mambo to play with a few days ago, Im trying to figure out how do you make a download section ????

And how do you link your phpbb forums to the site so it can show the latest post ??? If anyone can teach me or link me a tut :)


P.S. If anyone is wondering what do i mean by download section on mambo and forum linking i mean something like this site www.psphacks.net <<< sorry im new with cms

Mambo (Joomla) adds additional capabilities like downloads via components, modules and mambots which are add-on packages which give the basic program additional easy to use capabilities.

OoO I have been there but thought it was for something else so i would just download it from that site and add it on the components, mambots or modules and i would have it ???

Is your 'cache' folder writable?

Also try clearing out the sessions from the database.

Yea The Cache is writeable

About the database emptying im not really sure how to do that im not good with mysql if thats the database your talking about anyone know how ???

i feel embaressed to ask this question but i hope anyone can answer it i just made the mambo download section but when i try to down a file that i put i get a message like this
