I have installed a MySQL pkg 3.23.37 which appears in my list of installed software.

I found a posting on this BB that suggested I can find out if it is installed by telnet locate.

I did this and this is all I get back:

Test connecton failed

[admin admin]$ locate mysql
/home/chiliasp/odbc/direct/locale/en_US/LC_MESSAGES/ivmysql15.p

Is this right?

If I do a locate with php I get lots of lines!

any help appreciated.

Re my last message. I think it has been installed. I realised that to see it I needed to become a superuser. Once I logged into the the RaQ root and then did a locate mysql I got reams of files.
