This is my question too...is it ok?

Does one really needs to have a US bank acccount like Paypal?

I'm thinking of using Paypal too - looking for other cheaper alternatives for a new startup.

When I started out, I used paypal for credit card processing, worked good, was secure. All I did was create the subscription plan option which billed my users every month. By and by, I like paypal.

Personally, I think PayPal is the way to go for startups. No point in paying setup fees and such for something if you don't know if it's going to take off!

the problem with paypal is that your customers needs to have a paypal account...and alot of people don't. I have had many complaints.

Same here. It's best to get some kind of merchant account.

Yes i don't think paypal is good. Because when your company grows up. Many people from many other countries will want to order plans from your company. So that you should choose another payment option as paypal don't accept payments from many other companies :)

i wouldnt order thru paypal , i prefer cc , debt or check . I would look into 2checkout if you're on a budget . $45 bucks isnt much , and not to much to lose if your site never takes off
