Say...has anyone actually received a refund via paysystems? Been waiting 2 months.

First got the first email in March:
The transaction has been refunded, and will post to your account in around ten business days. It has been routed through a bank which is unfortunatly dealing with a 20 business day delay.

First of this month, called the CC company and request a charge dispute since the refund has not showed up yet.

Sent an email to paysystems to check on it like the CC suggested and received this email today:
I'm sorry, but at this point, we cannot process your refund. Your options for a refund are to contact the merchant from which the product was purchased, or contact your credit card company and file a dispute with their dispute department.

At this point I say F' em and going for the chargeback

You're to be commended for going the refund option first, and waiting so long. But Revecom shouldn't be able to help you there as the merchant needs to action that refund. If they wont budge, then you need to consider your options.

Already spoke to the merchant who said he issued a refund from paysystems control panel

Ahh...gotcha. Then I'd ask the merchant to push the matter with Revecom otherwise a chargeback is ultimately going to affect them.

Surprises me a bit though...Revecom were very quick to donate some of our earnings (~$450) to a client who didn't want their hosting anymore...6 months into a 12 month contract.

We don't use Revecom anymore. :)

Can the host send the $$$'s your way via Paypal or some other easy method?

milkman: i waited 2 months for my refund from the hosturbo fiasco (before i was a host my self;) ) and got it credited to my card automatically....i sent off only 1 e-mail during the 2 month period
