how is it that you can ping a site and tracert it but it does not show up in your browser?

Umm just because youcan ping a site doesnt mean the html pages are there when you ping a site all it does is send a packet to the server that domain is pointed to in the dns records, as long as the servers online it will come back as being there, but that doesnt mean that the server has to serve up any webpages.
