What a horrible experience. I signed up for an account Wednesday evening. Their site claims to have you setup and ready to go in a matter of hours. It is now Friday morning. I have sent two inquiries as to the status of my order, and have received NO response.

This came off their website:

"We personally have clients complain about past hosts that have taken days to get back to their clients. We require only a few hours."

The service has been non-existent. For someone who is eager to get started on his web project, this is a severe inconvenience. Now I will have to cancel my account, get in contact with my credit card to refuse payment, AND find another service provider.

Do NOT sign up with XT Networks.

Well, I'm sure I'm writing for many here...

That's one of the main problems in this industry. Just picture, for a second, a *good* host:

-busting their ass to provide friendly support
-monitoring their servers 24x7
-willing to bend backward to help you

OK, that's indeed a good host. So they think "Let's advertise it, our strength will help us make business".

Well, fat chance. All the kids around rip off their site and advertise the same level of service. If possible for less. After all, even if their clients are unhappy, they can always go sign elsewehere...but only after giving THEM their money for a couple months. After all it's only a few bucks, right? It's not like anybody's gona sue them :(

Anyway...you have my sympathy, Dep.

Host your self then, and see how reliable you are for you self.
