View Full Version : Goodbye single life...
Chicken 01-05-2001, 02:21 PM Well, I am being bugged to get off the computer (heh heh), and in a few short hours, I will become yet another victim of the 'm' word.
It is now 10 A.M. Pacific time and in 5 hours (3 P.M.), I will be heading off to get married. Go figure.
Just thought I'd announce it as my last post for the day. Wish me luck!!!

Duster 01-05-2001, 05:04 PM Chicken's delusions about being a rooster are coming to an end as he will soon discover who the real **** of the walk is. ;-)

William 01-05-2001, 07:20 PM Just tie a piece of wood undernieth it for your honeymoon, it will keep it going for ya!!
If you use Viagra, i have been told it could explode if you shoot it too much. so don`t go in the honey moon with a loaded gun!!
Edited - For Kids - Honey moon is a form excercise for 2 married couples. The Stork will bring the kids later.
Viagra - Keeps a man from loosing his balance during the excercise. During the Excercise he may feel soft, so he takes a Viagra to feel Firm again.
Good Luck >> Gulp!

SiperNet 01-05-2001, 07:40 PM Congrats Chicken! I have been married going on 2 years in May. Luckily I have a good women who doesn`t mind if I spend "a little" time on the puter. We will see how long that lasts! I think this marrige thing is great. Just as long as you have a great women. Anyway good luck to you.
cbaker17 01-05-2001, 07:45 PM Jeez WIlliam was that really necassary :)
What about the splinters anyways....
kunal 01-05-2001, 07:51 PM William, there are some impressionable young kids around. Think twice before typing! ;)
Spider John 01-05-2001, 08:20 PM I just wanna know if this means all of his posts will be edited by his new bride. Because if I start reading a post by Chicken regarding DNSes or something and it turns into a discussion of makeup or hair spray or something like that, I'm going to feel just a tad out of place. :)
Good luck guy.
projo 01-05-2001, 11:41 PM Congratulations Chicken.
A little advise (just a small selection):
Talk to your wife a lot and listen to what she says.
Never lie to your wife. The secret is to never do anything you can not tell your wife.
Never personalize an argument. Do not say anything that will leave a scar or hurt.
Always make time for her and your relationship.
Don't be too serious about the things that get to you. Use humor. Always be serious about the things that get to your wife. Hopefully she will use humor.
Don't develop your relationship by rules and never give advise to other people about their relationship.
I love my wife of 36+ years very much. It always warms me to see a new adventure begin.
Gary of Gary and Jeanne.

Well, honestly, I don't think that too many kids are going to be on this board that are "impressionable". I doubt if we have anyone under the age of 10 here that is discussing webhosting!
Anyways, good luck chicken. May all your dreams come true. I've been married now for 6 months and can't complain. (It's a lot better than my first one!)
Cheers....and good health!
webfors 01-06-2001, 12:32 AM Congrats Chicken!!! I'm glad to see I'm not the only one. Exactly 6 weeks for me before I get married. I'm actually looking forward to it.
Duster, that is one of my favourite quotes!!! :)
Projo, excellent advice for a long and wonderful relationship.
Congratulations!

Justing kidding - best fishes!
Neil
astralexis 01-06-2001, 08:09 AM Congratulations Chicken and good luck for this new venture.
Bogdan 01-06-2001, 01:35 PM Congrats Chicken!
Duster 01-06-2001, 01:56 PM Going online before the wedding I can understand. I wouldn't think we'll see him for awhile afterwards, though, not unless he wants his head cut off. ;-)
Chicken 01-06-2001, 07:50 PM Sneaking on again (heh heh)... many thanks for the kind words and advice form everyone!
Chicken 01-06-2001, 08:17 PM Okie... I put up a small page if you want to see some pics of the wedding. We did one of those private courthouse deals (reception end of Feb. sometime).

Ohhhh, and I just wanted to thank Kunal, our very own Confused Moderator, for the flowers he had delivered. I'll add a pic showing them soon to the site :)
(SH)Saeed 01-07-2001, 05:09 AM Chicken & Chickenette,
We wish you the best of luck and years and years of happiness. We will be traveling down the same path soon.
If there is one thing that would ensure a healthy marriage we would say it is to follow projo's advise! You can see that he has many years of experience under his belt.
Best wishes,
Saeed & his Angel
theNonsuch 01-07-2001, 01:36 PM Great pictures - brought a salty tear to my eye... <sob>
I'm kind of curious, though - just where is the last picture taken? LA? It looks much nicer than the slushy, snowy cold I'm up to my armpits in at the moment... <sigh>. Ah, living up North. What a joy.
Neil
Chicken 01-07-2001, 01:47 PM Yes, just south of L.A. at the Hermosa Beach pier actually. No snow, but a bit nippy today. You get used to warm temperatures and 60 degrees starts feeling 'chilly', heh.
TheComputerGuy 01-07-2001, 02:31 PM HHEHEHE, Good Luck Chicken, Beutiful Bride.
Take care of her.

Oh, yeah, Gooood Luck, make the best of life and true happiness shall be found.....
