need the following script to track the actual customers where come from ..

i want it as i say below .. i have good idea about stats softwares but i need exactly the following:

============= first part

* visitor will redirect from banner to somthing like

http://www.2mhost.com/anything.cgi?hostsearch


anything.cgi will do 2 things:

1. type in flat file (or MySQL db) somthing like:
visitor IP :: hostsearch

2. redirect to normal site: http://www.2mhost.com/index.html


so the flat file (or db) will have list like:

IP 1 :: hostsearch
IP 2 :: webhostdir.com
IP 3 :: google

.....

(no need to make software detect the referral ..)


now i have list by all visitors IPs and from where each one come from ..

==================== second part

when customer place the order (this part should be php code like the order pages, order system is multi-pages form2mail on secure server)

the software will detect the buyer's IP, search in the flat file (or db) generated above and will type in the order the referral.

so when i get the order i can know exactly who refer my that client ?

this is the basic part, you may include some custom features .. like clean the flat file (or db) after certain time (erase old lines only), ....
