I am using Register.com for some domain names. They are coming due again in June and I don't want to pay $35.00 each again. I have been looking at Enom and GoDaddy. Are they any good, and who would you recommend?

I just transferred one of my domains to them from netsol without a hitch thewitt 04-11-2002, 09:26 PM Don't let your domains get really close to the renewal date before you attempt your transfer to another registrar. Sometimes they can be very ugly, and you'll end up having to renew again before you can complete the transfer. Don't worry about transfering/renewing early - the time is added to the end of your current registration. -t web docta 04-11-2002, 09:28 PM So if I renew with let's say Godaddy NOW for 1 year , then are you saying that my expiration with Godaddy will be June of 2003? I would recommend Dotster at www.dotster.com. hostjet 04-16-2002, 07:03 AM in my experience transfers from register.com to an enom based account can happen within hours. |
