Howdy,

I noticed alot of "appraise my domains", so I just thought I'd get
your opinions on one of my domain names.

Do you think that "Zeah.com" is sellable?

Cheers

Unlikely scenario #233:

" Hi, my name is Zeah. I want to buy your domain, zeah.com and will pay you $1,000 for it "

Hi;
I checked it on a free domain name appraisal. I gave it low qualities but because it is only 4 letters, (very desirable) it still came back at a value of $1764. Now before you jump up and down and think that you've won the lottery. Remember this is a free appraisal process and subject to a lot of leeway. One being finding the buyer who wants or needs that particular domain name.

Good Luck,

DPerley

Ya - i'm not sure if it's worth that much,

but It's really only worth what someone will pay for it.. (duh)

Any domain appraisal service, is simply a joke. They mean nothing. No domain is worth anything, unless the demand for it is there -- and that's determined by how many people think it's worth anything. Assuming you do have someone with the name zeah (heh), don't plan they will offer you it that much either. I wouldn't pay over the registration price and maybe an addition $50 for timgreer.com, and I wouldn't pay much more than that for tim.com. If we're talking about chat.com, talk.com, news.com, computer.com, sex.com, etc., than that's far different. There's actually very few domains that are worth more than they cost to register (and that's simply because it costs to register them for someone). Some, and a little more, but not too many more, are worth a few hundred -- but that too is rare. Most domains aren't worth anything. I rarely see any that are, and I've never seen any that are any good that have ever been for sale. I take that back, I've seen a few that were good and worth a couple hundred bucks, but they were asking in the thousands or hundreds of thousands. Do we need to guess if they ever actually sold them for that price, or at all? :-) It's good to see people being realistic about domain names. And, indeed, simply because something had only 4 letters, doesn't mean anything. There's 9,999 other domains with up to 4 letters in them as well and you can bet a lot are free still, and for a reason. As people stated, it depends on someone wanting it, and that's all that ever makes it worth anything at any point.
