Has anybody seen this problem before.

If you ftp to the blue pizza box and login as admin you can't write in any sites folders. To drop files into those folders you must be logged in as that Sites Administrator.

This also go's fro creating htacess pasword files...

Anyone?

I would return your blue pizza box to the pizza boy who delivered it :)

You wouldn't accept a cold pizza too...don't ya?

It's a linux limitation, not a RaQ one.

Search Google for "32 site limit" on the domain list.cobalt.com for workaround alternatives.

There is actually a fix for it. Yes, there is a 32 user limit. This is because the "admin" account is similar to Window's Power User account. It can modify up to a limit, but it's not the root admin. It can, however be fixed. Just not the way you intend for it to. It requires you to create multiple admin accounts. When I had my RaQ, I had 5 (admin, admin2, admin3, admin4, admin5). Once you create multiple admins, you can then edit files for other sites. If you want, you can add the root user group to the list of trusted proftp users and login as root to modify files.

For more help on how to create the seperate admin files and edit the bash, perform a search here. There are a few tutorials on how to do it.

easier method use SSH to copy and transfer file from one domain to another :)
