View Full Version : looking for a reliable alternative to paypal
inatcher1 09-16-2005, 11:05 AM Hello,
I am looking for a (very) reliable alternative to paypal.
I can not use paypal because it does not allow withdrawals
to my country.
My basic requirements from 3pp are:
a. Transaction fees should not be above the average.
b. The account should serve my personal and business needs,
including credit card processing.
c. The 3pp should offer a ATM debit card, like Visa Electron.
---------
Another idea is to get a ATM debit card and to charge it directly from
PayPal. Do you know who can provide the hassle free service?
Thanks!
Best Regards,
Inna.

To help people better answer your question, they will need to know what country you are in.
inatcher1 09-16-2005, 01:40 PM Corey Bryant: Thank you for the greetings.
I am from Israel.
Corey Bryant 09-16-2005, 01:46 PM You might check out 2Checkout or CCAvenue. It seems both of those companies might support your country
inatcher1 09-16-2005, 02:07 PM But, not 2Checkout neither CCAvenue offer a debit card...
Actually, stormpay seems to answer my needs. But, stormpay's reputation is not cristally clean and the fees are very high...
steven-v 09-16-2005, 03:36 PM Let us know when you will be able to find somebody with "crispy clean" credit processing with debit card and who accept Israel ;)

Corey Bryant 09-16-2005, 04:34 PM Unfortunately the more pre-requesites you place on it, the more difficult it will become to locate someone

I completely agree with you. There should be some compromise, between the available and the desired...
I am looking for the names of the 3pp service providers and then
I will pick the best one for my needs.
And the last thing, if I have a Debit Card, it should not really matter what my location is.
Thanks!

Is it possible to accept payments in GBP wit paytox.
d_johnson 09-17-2005, 04:25 PM epay2000.com works for me at the moment. Low rates and efficient payouts. I recommend them.
I have also used ccnow.com and payzip.com in the past. CCNOW worked out but their rates were just too high. Payzip is like paypal but in Singapore. They require some paper work to get going but their rates and service is decent.

There aren't really many on this list, I believe there are many more out there which also could be conidered as relliable.
It would be nice with a complete list if someone have such.
I know there is at least one here at WHT that has build up a site with links, but if that's "only" is a list or he checked the services he offers I'm not sure about.
