My project www.parkgrubbs.com i want to add this http://parkgrubbs.com/subpage.gif image in the background of my subpage so i can put a table on top of it. I have two problems.
1. I dont know how to add the image in the background of the page. I want to keep the subpage like the main page but have the image http://parkgrubbs.com/subpage.gif in the background.
2. The file size for the image is half a meg how do i work with that or somehow make it smaller so it wont load very slow in the browser.

Save the file in jpg at 60% quality, it will reduce the size!
and to put it on your background, don't use only Imageready to build your site.
Save the image in jpg as i told you, put it in the main table declaration : background="subpage.jpg". Save small images like photos, that inscription and so on, with Photoshop. And with Frontpage place them in your page, arange them as you like.
You will never make a fast site only with slices! You must play around with tables.

i cannot help you only with a code, because you need to change your page code at all.
now i'm at work, but after 7 hours i will at home and i will make that first page and you will see what i'm talking about :)
Anyway here is the code:
<table background="subpage.jpg" width="" height="" border="0">
note: save your subpage image in jpg at 60% quality.
But if you can wait i will do that for you.

Here is the .psd file since i dont need the images on the frontpage i have included a .psd file called subpage. Everything in the subpage.psd file need to be in the background except for the logo.
http://parkgrubbs.com/subpage.psd
http://parkgrubbs.com/background2.psd => you may not need that file since i dont need the images on there for the subpage.
