I just recently purchased a VPS from VARHosting.net (technically, it traces to VPSColo...). Anyways, I need a way to transfer files from non-account folders inside the server, onto my computer. FTP only works with CPanel accounts. Any ideas? Maybe FTP for the whole server can be configured?

Use Sftp, It's much much better..

why not SSH into the receiving host and wget those data quick and simple?
