Hiring - CMS installation/upgrades/troubleshooting and light cPanel support needed.

Hello,

This is a paid position.

We are looking for someone that has experience with cPanel and open source content management systems (like what is at opensourceCMS.com). You will provide installations/upgrades and minor troubleshooting (i.e. look for answers to a problem at the CMS support forum). You will also provide light general cPanel tech support.

It is ok if you don't have experience with all the systems at opensourceCMS.com (who would really?). If you've installed/upgraded several different CMS's then you know the basic installations are all the same. You should feel comfortable in your ability to install or upgrade a CMS by reading the docs and/or finding answers in support forums. You must have experience with this. Fantastico experience does not count. You must be able to do manual installations/upgrades.

This is not a programming or server admin position (but any knowledge is helpful). This is also not a straight cPanel tech support position. This is more for someone who is well rounded with php/mysql/cpanel/light server admin skills.

The bottom line is you will provide support and installations/upgrades to clients who use php/mysql open source content management systems, and cPanel. That's it in a nutshell.

We are only looking for those 18 years or older. English must be well spoken, written, and understood. We are first looking for someone who can be available M-F around 9am - 5pm Eastern or Central Time. That doesn't mean you have to be glued to your computer 9 - 5, but you need to “around” to check the help desk and do work as needed. We may also consider a second hire for overnight (which may be your daytime depending on your location).

Contact admin 'at' opensourcecms.com and include your credentials, experience, skills, etc., that would make you good fit for this position. I'm not going to ask for a formal resume, but if you have one, and want to send it, by all means please do so.

I'm open to answer whatever questions you may have, however please don't post them in this thread. Please send them via email.

Thank you for your time.
