I signed up with ACSDatanet almost a year ago and have been pretty happy. The one weak point was the technical service. Clint was just overworked and there were significant delays in response to tech support issues.

I haven't really needed any tech support for a few months (good sign), but today I experienced a problem with my box. Alex, the [new?] support guy, answered my query within a few minutes telling me my box seemed OK. After reporting that it may be fine where he is but for me it was not available, he got back to me a short while later explaining that the network was malfunctioning. A short while later everything was fine.

Most importantly, Alex kept me posted on what was going on, right up to the resolution of the issue. Nice!

Just thought I'd relay this.

Clint has hired extra support now. 2 boxes I have left colo'd there have been fine for the most part, just short interruptions. Clint even went so far as to reinstall RH for me on one of them.
I am glad that you posted this thread as I was meaning to also, they have come back up in my opinion, let's just hope this is maintained now.
I am of the opinion that most hosts can handle some downtime, if the communication is there. We need to know what is happening if there is a problem, we can't go 4,5,6hrs, or longer without info to relay to our customers. If Clint has solved this problem, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
