Hi to everyone
I was doing some research on fraud and am looking for a fraud gateway provider. Can anyone recommend someone that maybe also provides a chargeback guarantee? is there a monthly fee on this service, tranaction fee? any information would be more than useful. Thanks in advance for all of your input.

Jen

Check out Verisign's Payflow services. They offer some extra fraud protection. And you might also check out VBV / MSC to help with the "I didn't do it " chargebacks.

You might also consider adding some thing to your TOS to sell url=http://crbcompany.com/company/]your chargebacks[/url], if the credit card was not stolen.

PreCharge offers a guarantee on chargebacks. I believe they charge a discount rate for it.

Interesting... I wonder what exclusions would exist in their chargeback guarantee.

The reason being that only one cross section of chargebacks is related to fraudulent cards - and no 3rd party service could ensure that the product or service from the merchant-side would be adequately and satisfactorily delivered so it would be seemingly very challening to "guarantee" no chargebacks from that standpoint.

I believe they guarantee to pay your chargeback fees. Its not a guarantee against getting chargebacks.

They just seem to be another electronic payment gateway (like Verisign's Payflow, LinkPoint, Authorizenet.com, etc). It is difficult to tell where they are based wince there whois is not registered to someone in the United States.

And on one of their pages
Please contact us and we will put you in touch with one of our clients for more information.
Which makes you wonder that if once you become a client, do you become a sales agent or do they expect you to tell others about their services?

You would probably need to locate a ReD1 reseller to get their prices. It is just like LinkPoint's or Authorizenet.com's websites, they do not list prices there, you go thru a reseller to obtain their product.

Thanks Corey, do you know what verisign's prices are by any chance?

The prices can vary, but you can check out Fraud Protection Services (http://www.verisign.com/products-services/payment-processing/online-payment/fraud/index.html) for some of their prices. Contact a reseller to get the gateway also at a cheaper price.
