Hey guys,

I've just published a BETA version of a control panel (OPEN SOURCE, FREE! - based on Cobalt) - at http://www.freehostingsolutions.com

It's still new so some features don't work (ie no dns management or SSL yet :( )

It runs on Redhat 7.1
No requirements other than that except a user "admin" must exist with the same password as the root user

There is no documentation, just simple install instructions on the page. The design is horrible, and it doesn't have a name yet :)

But all the customer's features work (except SSL and crons) and some other stuff.

Thanks!

Seems interesting. I'm going to try it when I catch a free moment. Any known problems with RH 7.2?

Hi. It should work with 7.2 but it hasnt been tested - I don't foresee a problem.

It would work on 6.2 also if:
xinetd is installed
and shadow password enabled
and some minor changes

We will work to port this to other versions too.

Right now, we are planning to release a newer version on Sunday with improvements in design and some code :)

We home to put up a demo soon

Again, its based on the Cobalt RaQ Control Panel but its better with more features (MySQL manager for customers, SUB DOMAIN manager, Perl Syntax Check, etc...)

:)

Ah Think I had some install errors, its 7.1 but it needs a format anyway - its only my test box all my crud is on there.
Considering KDE will crash when you move a file accross the desktop I think its a prob on the box ;)

LOL, :) Try installing it on a clean install :)

If you're formatting anyway, wait till sunday (towards the night) when we will release a better version :)
