I was just curious for those who started hosting ( more so reselling) as a sole proprietor decided at what point did they need a partner or additional help or are you still able to fly solo. Also curious as to what places outsource tech support?

Don't worry, since I'm just in the BEGINNING stage of understanding the hosting business I have no plans to jump onto the ship next week or even at all. This is something I'd consider venturing into LATER down the line after having a better feel of the foundation of it with other business plans currently being worked on, now.

I've been providing hosting for my design clients since '95, but didn't really start the full-blown hosting biz until about last August. I'm still able to provide most of the support and day to day stuff myself and have found no need for outside investors as of yet. That being said, I am now at the point where I'm going to have to hire a few support people very soon.
