Hiya,

In reading through the Ensim administrator's manual and simultaneously working with the demo, I've gotten how to install SSL web server certificates for the server and the individual sites, but nowhere is it mentioned how to install the CA (rootchain) certificate (unless this is a manual operation). I'm sure I'm missing something rather simple, but if someone could point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.

Also, the demo says to specify "Apache freeware" as the server type when ordering the ssl cert, but I've yet to see that as an option anywhere. This leaves us with Apache-ssl or mod_ssl as the next likely candidates - anyone know which to specify?

Thanks in advance,
-Bob

This is a manual process. It's not too hard to do, but I wish there was a way to do it through the GUI so the customer could perform the task! <G>

Choose mod_ssl.

Thanks one and all for the replies. A bit of searching through google got me what I was looking for in regards to the SSL cert - seems as though I'm not the only one to run into this question. Now, if that were only the biggest problem I was having...the DNS setup (thread in Technical & Security Issues) is absolutely making me nuts.

:uzi:Ensim
:flamethr:Ensim again, just for good measure

me:smash: for not being better prepared.

Thanks again,
-Bob
