Unmetered 100Mbit servers,Free Setup, Free Control Panel, starting at $99

The subject for this topic seems misleading. You cannot get an unmetered 100Mbit server for $99! The only $99 plan listed in the first post is 5Mbit:

AMD 1400
512MB RAM DDR
80GB HDD 7200
5Mbit port
Unmetered monthly transfer
Free Firewall
Free Control Panels
Free IP addresses
multihomed BGP 4 bandwidth
No hidden fees
Ram and hard drive upgrades are available
Cogent bandwidth

- $99/mth, $0/

I'm not from RHS but I'll answer.
I believe it says 5500GB because that's how much you should expect on the 100mbit port. The port is shared not dedicated.

Judging from your name, I can guess that you're looking to host anime episodes, if so don't, they're illegal.

No, its the normal FDC thing. You can transfer up to 5500GB, when that line is crossed you will be capped at 10Mbit till the next month. If that happens again another month, you will be permanently capped at 10Mbit.

In other words: It is in no way 100Mbit unmetered. It is 5500GB on a 100Mbit port.

I do have one of these boxes, speeds to europe are unfortunately very slow: About 50KB/sec per connection. Inside the US it's between 50 and 500KB/sec, depending on time and location.
