View Full Version : This is driving me nuts
Could some kind soul please go here (http://www.htmlhelpcentral.com/messageboard) and check if the page loads unearthly slow or if it's just on my end. It seems to take seconds before I can even get a glimpse of the background image, let alone any other graphics. Co-webmaster in Canada says it's dead slow for him as well, boyfriend on "fatband" connection from Stockholm thinks it's OK, members don't complain at all. I want to see if anyone else is having this issue before I contact support about it.
Eternally grateful in advance. :D
PS. Not a review request, I just want to know if I'm going insane...
Blackman 04-10-2002, 01:30 PM Seems very fast.
United Kingdom, England
Edit: On a Cable Modem
Incognito 04-10-2002, 01:30 PM Going to it from Texas
Pinged from another location averaged 104ms...which is good.
However, did a traceroute and within at&t had a 100% packet loss...
Did a traceroute from a different location...went by Cogent and had no problems.
So, it would appear some problems in some of the carriers outside NAC....specifically, AT&T.
aleavens 04-10-2002, 04:44 PM first hop is removed because it is inside my network!

goodness0001 04-10-2002, 04:58 PM Loads quick on a t-1 but it appears to be loading a lot of content, a slower connection may be loading it really slow

Nope, it's been settled and agreed upon since I was born that I am totally and healthily insane, and so are all my hamsters. No need to flog a horse that's been dead, risen, zombified, re-killed, stuffed, sequeled and finally sold to a Kenyan multibillionaire for 21 years. :D

Lord Krim 04-11-2002, 11:01 PM Problem with nuts? hmmmmm.........
Sounds like you need squirrels! I use them get rid of nuts for me all the time. Also squirrels make a great snack afterwards, taste just like chicken, only hairier.
