I have a designer doing some work for me at the moment and they don't know how to take the design in Photoshop and convert it into HTML for me.

It is a one page design only. Fairly standard design.

Let me know how much you would charge to fo this work to take a PSD photoshop file and convert it into HTML?

thanks

Leslie

Leslie,

That depends on the complexity of the design.
I'm definitely interested in the work however!

Just a suggestion from experience..

Even "I" could have photshop generate the code automatically in a few minutes.

That may not produce the sort of clean code where adding material and content will be easy.

Look at people's websites You want to see the portfolio of sites they have created. You want someone who can code well for customers. The lowest may not be the best way to go.

On the other hand sometimes the lowest bidder has a great portfolio and is equally good for your task as a higher bidder.

Just a bit of unsolicited advice learned years ago the hard way

Thanks for the handy advice! Looks like the average price quoted is around $20 to $30 to code a page.

And I agree, the cheapest is not always the best way to do things.

Are there any specific sites offers PSD converting. Like, you know you can go to a banner site and see someone who just does banners, is there anyone who offers just coding of pages where they show before (jpeg) and after (html).

thanks

Leslie

Try searching the forums for template slicing, or PSD slicing.

We can do it. Our portfolio:
www.templateslicing.com

For an exact quote, we will need to see the design itself.

Niklas

Do you have some examples of "before" and "after", that is what the psd looked like and what it then became when you coded it?

thanks

Leslie

Anyone else want to respond. I will be choosing someone in the next couple of days.

Please only respond if you can show before and after.
