I am gonna be offering reseller accounts in the next few weeks and im making a guide to send to all the resellers...it will have in it a basic contol panel guide, and a FAQ for the reseller, as well as the most commonly asked questions that will be asked by their customers. I think that this may reduce the amount of tech support they need and will help them answer their clients quickly and easily.
Can you give me any ideas of anything else it would be good to include as well as the FAQ's Or any questions that you get asked frequently that i can include.
P.S. the server is running plesk

Doesn't matter how good your FAQ is, people hardly ever read it and mail support. We're just in the process of revamping our self-help support tools because we are just having to handle a crazy amount of support requests.
Setting up a forum may help. It helped us alot and members just help each other out. But then you have to moderate it to check all is going well and that's time consuming aswell - but it's fun! Eh, Chicken?

yeah i know most ppl dont read the faq which is why im making it into a guide instead of just a faq on my site. We still have our technical support obviously but this is just to try and cut down on the number of requests

It's a great idea. I'm a budding reseller, and one of the questions I had (and have) is about setting up plans for customers. I wrote a post about this under "website average size" or the like. From the business end, it's important to know how big you can expect customer's sites to be, and to try to anticipate the bandwidth to be used.
And as for the idea, when browsing for host/reseller plans, I spend a long time on the FAQ's, and find that they don't tell enough information! They are all very general and want you to sign up WITHOUT extra details. Then you have to call or email and ask a laundry list of questions.
Someone (such as yourself) should put out a "standard" document with questions about reseller programs. This way, each site has the same chunk of questions already answered. Imaging the time the hosting reseller provider will save in answering the same questions over and over.
Again, there might just be a reason why the reseller programs don't give out all that info. I don't know why that is, but maybe there's some business reason.
Anyway, good luck with the project and feel free to email me or post for ideas. I'd be more than happy to contribute (I pestered so many sites with so many questions == I just won't buy before I get enough info).
