We are looking and doing a complete overhaul of our current billing systems due to growth and limitations with our current system (2Checkout, PayPal, and WHMAP). We are mainly looking at WorldPay + FuturePay (for multi-currency transactions), along with ModernBill (as we do a lot of custom packages).

Has anybody had extensive experience with these 2 working together? Any limititations you have found? Is it a good setup to use for custom packages, modifcations to billing (i.e. package upgrades), and overage charges? Does fraudcall work well with WorldPay? Can affiliate scripts be well integrated with ModernBill?

We were going to wait for the new release of WHMAP to see if it would be more suited to our needs, but its been close (if not more) than year overdue.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I do not have first hand experience with WorldPay, but it is my understanding that it integrates with ModernBill in the same manner as any 3PP. The only difference between 2Checkout and WorldPay modules in ModernBill is that WorldPay module supports recurring transactions. It is definitely not going to be as convenient to use as a real gateway such as authorize.net which integrates much better with ModernBill.

ModernBill has built-in support for Ultimate Affiliate and iDevAffiliate scripts.

Thanks for the info!

WorldPay is not a 3PP, they are a real merchant account. Yes, they are not as flexible as authorize.net, but you have a virtual terminal, and your own merchant ID. The main advantage is its ability to process in different currencies. I'd really like to hear from someone with some first hand experience with Worldpay/FuturePay to find out what level of integration there, and if it easy to use when dealing with upgrades and custom packages.
