Ok this may be the wrong forum to put this in but surely someone knows how to help me. I've set up a DNS server and everything is working ok.
Now on our corporate wan we have some other Windows Nt Server that we would like to be able to access. How can I add these to the DNS server. For instance the name of one server is
corphrweb1 its not really in a zone of its own, we just need to be able to ping it and connect to it for citric etc if we just use the name corphrweb1. i've tried everything and cant get it to work. Please help. Hope all this made sense.

Sounds like you need to set up a dns entry for the server corphrweb1.yourdomain.com
Then set the domain suffix on your workstations to yourdomain.com

Otherwise, look at using WINS instead of DNS.
