![]() | View Full Version : Lpanel, ModernBill or whmautopilot? madtomic 09-07-2005, 11:05 PM Which panel is better for cpanel? XMG-Eric 09-07-2005, 11:37 PM There are countless threads on this topic. Try a search ;-) I personally, an partial to ModernBill. mikemr2x 09-08-2005, 03:01 AM Lpanel by Far. Impressive! SimplyReseller 09-08-2005, 01:02 PM Hiya, Of the three, I have not used LPanel, but I do like Autopilot and modernbill. It depends what you're really looking for as the major needs and uses. As Eric said, try a search, there are many many topics on this discussion :) Prig 09-08-2005, 01:30 PM I really like Lpanel. Its really easy to setup and get going. WireNine 09-08-2005, 06:24 PM Modernbill all the way :) qubefactor 09-09-2005, 10:33 AM If you use LPanel, you will want to shoot yourself in the head for being plagued with awful support. I use WHMAutoPilot and couldn't be happier. mikemr2x 09-09-2005, 01:23 PM That's funny! I actually felt that way at first but once you start interaction with them they take care of you. They were working on flash tutorials for me last Sunday. I take back anything negative I said in the past. veritashosting 09-09-2005, 02:33 PM I recommend modernbill HIGHLY. I use to ahve WHMAuto, but got fed up with waiting nearly two years for V3. Yep, for the price, modernbill does exactly what i need, and more. angelkiss 09-09-2005, 02:57 PM Lpanel by far, they have better prices, better features, and they constantly update! Just my 2 cents... I highly recommend it You should try their free demo and decide for yourself =) IvialisJonathan 09-09-2005, 05:12 PM I have never used Lpanel but out of the other 2 billing systems, I would recommend ModernBill over WHMAutopilot. layer0 09-09-2005, 07:36 PM I have used LPanel and it is *extremely* buggy for cPanel. WHMAutoPilot is specially made for the function of creating cPanel accounts so if that's what you need I'd recommend that. However, ModernBill has tons of features which you may need. mikemr2x 09-09-2005, 08:44 PM Makers of cPanel made Lpanel had no issues also WHM is in same control panel. Customers control panel interface has access to cPanel, flash tutorials,Billing, Help tickets, Help chat etc. just a few features anyway try out demo. Thanks all won't rant anymore. okihost 09-09-2005, 09:09 PM Originally posted by mikemr2x Makers of cPanel made Lpane Are you sure about this? mikemr2x 09-09-2005, 09:29 PM Sorry,Lpanel.net Corp is not directly connected to cPanel or any other control panel. Lpanel originated based on the cPanel as a core hosting control panel. Best think to do id research and install em all. Decide for yourself. eservicesu 09-09-2005, 09:53 PM Been using Lpanel for awhile, VERY NICE Good price too. - Eddy VN-Ken 09-09-2005, 10:59 PM From my experience, Lpanel lacks support by far, and is slow on development. I switched from Lpanel to ModernBill, and couldn't be happier! Thanks. madtomic 09-09-2005, 11:07 PM whmautopilot seems to be dedicated to CPanel development only. I think this kind of dedicated development for a single product is better than one develope for many panels. Thanks for all your inputs. I think I had made my choice for my cpanel servers. wehost4u 09-10-2005, 03:15 PM We started with phpCoin - fantastic for only one server - of course, we grew. We tried LPanel - but could not get certain features to work properly. The support (both Tickets & Forums) was so bad, we finally gave up! We now use WHMAutoPilot, (as we are whm/cpanel based) , and have utilized most of the current add-ons/contributions to enhance the productivity of the script. We're pretty happy - especially as WHMAutoPilot authors give EXCELLENT support, both with Tickets and in the Forums. DamonF 09-11-2005, 08:35 PM I use WHMAutoPilot as well. Haven't had nay problems, couldn't be happier. |
