Is there a way to set up Photoshop 7.0 to automatically resize a large number of pictures to a smaller size? If it could also auto level, auto contract, and auto color, that would be excellent.

Look into "Actions" and "Batch Processing". Actions allow you to cluster multiple functions into a single action and batch processing allows you to preform actions on multiple images, say all the ones in a folder.

Word to the wise, back up all your pictures before preforming the batch process, lest you make a mistake and now have junk.
