I just had a guy make a log for me. The domain is two crazy ducks, so you guessed it, it needed two crazy ducks in the logo. So He made a logo I like, but the ducks he used are the silhouette of Daffy Duck. He is not coloured, has no facial features. Just the outline. Is this considered copyright infringement? I don't want to get sued by Warner Bros, but my budget didn't allow for someone to create a duck from scratch.

Yes it is, you should of asked for something else made. Also, if i can ask, did he draw it or just find the image on the internet? Because if he just found it on the internet and you paid him for it, you shouldn't have.

Unfortunetly I think he just got it off the net. It was cheap, but still I will do it differently next time.
