I have two NEW 1u servers - and I am looking for a managed hosting solution with a really well established and stable company. I need Cpanel and WHM - plus good support. At this time I am a fairly low bandwidth usage client with only 20 domains.

I am debating using venturesonline.com because I have had success with them - however I found out the colocated option provides no backup options for tape drives or rotations, very little support if something happens, and I don't need hand holding - but more like peace of mind - and their recommended option of backing up to a second hard drive is rolling the dice - which I want to avoid at all costs.

Are there any other really good places that would take two gateway servers and run a nice deal on dedicated / managed solution for two new 1u rackmount units? Please mail me at jdt@batcave.net or reply here if you have something - I have ordered the servers however they haven't been shipped yet.

Are you looking for colo, managed colo or a managed dedicated server?

I guess it would be managed colo - where I provide the servers, I setup the accounts, do the billing, do the support for customers, domains - the host provides the OS support / whm and cpanel support / and backs up the thing / plus provides replacement if parts go bad (this is new never opened servers I would be providing) so I don't have to worry about losing data and can concentrate on selling.

I would try to fix and resolve all things possible and have a pretty high level of unix knowledge - but since I am not physically there I need someone to make sure things stay up and going.

Does this make sense?
