My personal nameserver (ns1.mydomain.com & ns2.mydomain.com) doesn't work with TLD (.com,.net,.org), but I was told if I get an aliased nameserver it will work.

Is it possible my aliased nameserver by just having mydomain.com DSN changed in Networksolution so that mydomain.com will have

ns1.mydomain.com xxx.xxx.xxx.x1
ns2.mydomain.com xxx.xxx.xxx.x2

where xxx.xxx.xxx.x1 & xxx.xxx.xxx.x2 is the IPs of my host provider.

NSI allows us to type IPs of our nameserver, does any other registrars which offer the same function but only that we can simplying manages it by changing ourself.

If not, how can I get an Aliased Nameserver?

Please advice a better solution.

Registering nameservers under your domain but with your ISP's addresses should not work, as NSI requires a unique IP address for each nameserver in the database. And Your ISP's nameservers already have those two addresses.

You can probably find a third party to run nameservers for you under your aliases if you do a little searching. Or you can run your own, if you have a dedicated server. Might cost you a little though, as I'm not sure there are any free providers for this kind of service.

http://zonedit.com does this for a fee, and http://centralinfo.net has *something* like what you want, but you may have to sign up as a reseller of their services to get the aliased nameservers.

Not great solutions, but...

http://zoneedit.com reseller program would be great for my free host, I get e-mails everyday from people willing to pay $50 a year to use their own domain (thats the price I posted on my site).

Does anyone know any other companies that allow you to resell their web forwarding service (mydomain.com --> http://someips.com/mysite )? If the company can do the billing for me it would be even better.

Hello
I use the Zoneedit.com service at $150 for 50 zones for a year.
It works well and is easily customisable.

One point though.
In the code for the default parking pages (before you upload your own) they have hidden links to a number of their own sites.

Are they trying to improve their link popularity?

GordonH, did you try their $400 one time setup fee for ns1.yourdomain.com and ns2.yourdomain.com ?

No,
As I have my own nameservers already.

I just use their name servers for domain forwarding.
They use these nameservers for reseller customers:

a.dnsvr.com
b.dnsvr.com
