I wish to know if anyone knows about any tools which allow you to trace a webhost, for e.g. through its domain. The search should enable reverse IP lookups, give the details on the Datacenter the server is on & provide other essential data besides providing the regular WHOIS information.

The closest I got to this is Whois.sc (www.whois.sc).

I use the Netcraft Toolbar from http://toolbar.netcraft.com - available for IE & Firefox.

Have a look at www.centralops.net use the Domain Dossier function.

Try dnsstuff.com, they have couple of tools that might help you out.
